I have this jig setup I have been using over the last 7 years. It has been very good to me. http://www.ifish.net/gallery/data/500/medium/7258puppy_002.jpg It has about 7 diff. colors mostly black and blue with silver and black strands for some flash. I also use diff. types of skirt material. http://www.ifish.net/gallery/data/500/medium/7258puppy_004.jpg In the spring I make my jig setup long (use all of the craw worm). I do trim the skirt at the lake to match the conditions. I also trim my weed guard on an angle and just past the hook point. In the spring I use crawdad cents also. sents work great in low light and cold water.for more information on this jig see my reply on "Re: Where are you looking forward to fishing???" (near the end of the list)
:yay:.
I love slinging jigs (pitching dead on target and W/ a soft entry into the water) I like to pitch in to small holes on the edge of the brush on silver! Next to logs is good but not as much fun except when a monter bites my hook on the log. If you have any question just send me a message!
