Just curious if any alanon members might be out there and interested in talking some fishing and recovery?

I've been on both sides of the issue. 201/2 years clean and sober. The other side is with friends and family that followed suit.
If I can be of service, just let me know.
I've got lots of free time for a few weeks. Had rotator cuff surgery yesterday.
Any bites on the boat? I'm on my second Almar and getting ready to sell this one.
PM me if you are interested and I'll get you my phone number.

Saw your two lastest post re: recovery and returning to church - put down the glass over 12 years ago but just recently picked up the other "big book" to read and started attending a nice church locally. Wouldn't say I am active but I am present to hear the message when I listen. I'll start fishing for springers in the Willamette and Columbia in a month or so, long days aboard make for a good place to talk of such things. Send me a PM if your inclined to do so.
... anyone else reading this that's in or interested in recovery is invited as well.

Brad,

May 13th, 1989 for me buddy..... Never will forget that date because that was the day I decided to change things for myself.....Man has life been good since then as well.

Fight the good fight brother..... Recovery is a beatiful thing and you will find that out buddy....

If I can help you in any way with a fishing trip or just being a person you can talk to, let me know....

All the best to you....
