A friend and I went to green peter and had a heck of a day. We put in about 11:00 AM and the water temp was 53.4 the air temp was 50 degrees, and we were the only boat on the water. Caught a little over 20 keepers and most of those were caught on jigs. Several of the fish went over 2 pounds and lately thats pretty good for G.P. The lake is down about 70 feet from full pool. Had no rain so all in all it was a nice day.

Lightline,
Good going. I've never tried it this late in the year. Were you fishing the arms or the points? Uh...you didn't happen to see any ducks or geese, did you?
The wife and I drove up past Thistle Creek ramp last Sunday, and then headed up a side road to see if any grouse were out. The sun was just starting to set as we came around one curve and the island was just glowing. Everywhere else there was just enough fog to dull things out except the island. No camera, of course, but it'll be a long time before I forget that scene.
Er...did I ask you about the ducks and geese? It's for my lab, you understand.

Sounds like the old days. with the water down that low I would guess that you were fishing the stuff that we fish in march and early april. Tim

Yes I am cranky....your point! Are the same colors working. And was it that faint little tick bite and then maybe a walk off.

wannabe: yes the same color, but some of the bites were fairly aggresive. but for the most part it was a G.P. bite. "tight lines".
