Wiper problems...

Bought my North River used and the only thing wrong with it at the time was the wipers. There's juice , the motor runs but no movement of the wipers ...'sup with that ?? Thx in advance. swampy

The Wiper transmission probably uses plastic gears. The gears are probably stripped.

I've had the bolt fall out of where the motor arm connects to the wiper arm. You'll have to cral under the front deck with a flashlite to check what is & isn't moving. Mine is the NR Dual Wiper system! I reconnected with Nylon Lock Nut with Lock-Tite.

I just redid mine. Exactly what Kamalot said. There is an arm that the motor turns. This arm has plastic sleeves and wears out. I bought the update kit from North River a couple of weeks ago. The new arm has brass sleeves. Cost was less the $10 and took 5 minutes to fix.
