Had the pleasure of going out on the upper Willamette today. With all this rain we were suppossed to be getting I felt time was getting short. Water temp was at about 49 and up a bit but pretty clear still. The best biters were in about ten feet...at least there they were taking it the best but was graphing more fish in about fifteen feet and they were much more suttle. Did catch some out to twenty five feet too. Fished for about four hours and between me and a friend we caught about ten to fifteen smallies. Biggest was about two pounds. Not huge by any means but satisfying. Saw one other boat fishing so was not to crowded. Drop shotting and darter heads with tubes seemed the best with green pumpkin being the best color. Tight Lines.
