View Full Version : Where is there good Fly water near ashland

I am working in the area for the next two weeks and was wondering what was close to this area for fly water rivers or streams or what is worth the drive.I am faniliar to the upper rogue and hoy waters area. But what else is there also fly recomendations would be great. Any and all info would be much appreciated. I am excited to see new water. thanks for the help. I will also have access to a drift boat for this time. :dance: :yay:

You might try the Rogue, it's not too far. Some of the ifishers in southern oregon might be a little more helpfull.

Well, The Klamath near I5, but I think the fishing is generally slow this time of year... It's been alternating between snow pack and none at all on Mount Ashland...

The Holy Water stretch is a sluice.... If it wasn't closed I'd say find some of God's country to look at. Like the upper-upper Rogue... prospect to Crater Lake, or...

...So I would say the Applegate River for trout (not open for steelhead right now?)
