Finally got to go out on the ol Willamette for a few hours Sunday after doing C.A.S.T. Water looked like it had come up a bit. Was sure clear above the falls I thought. Lots of little fish but just before dark was able to lip a few in the 2-3 lb range. Drop-shotting seemed the most consistant. (small zippers)

How was the CAST FOR KIDS??

I was going to bring my boat out, but of course, I had other stuff to do.

It was there best ever turn out. Almost 25 boats showed up. The weather was perfect..not too hot and all the bees that are normally present weren't too bad. I believe the kids all caught fish and they loved the tackle boxes and rods they recieved too. I haven't been able to attend the last couple years so was good for my heart to be there. Nothing quite like a kids smile.

That's GREAT!! I have had club members that have participated and they do say it is a great experience.
