Well hooked some good ones on saturday all over the rivers. Lots of Bass boats running around. Headed out 6am Father and son trip wonderful clients to have onboard. Both the father and son caught fish consistant through the day, It turned into their own competition at one point they were hooking fish for fish.
We managed to catch lots of fish. Several 3's and one just under 6lbs. 21 3/4 inches. That was a hog. It would have been nice to bring this load to the scales. I will definetly once again be fishing the circuits next year. It's been good to take a year off and just Guide and fish.
Once the cloud cover lifted and the traffic started we remained deep and fishing real slow in some isolated areas where we could avoid the constant wakes.
Not a consistant pattern colors changed through the day, but we still stayed into them
Lots of fishing still to come with the fall pattern on the way, we just need some cooler temps to start the feeding frenzee. :grin:
