Has anyone been having any luck on the JD? Thinking about hitting it here in the next week or so?

I was thinking of hitting it at least once before the new year, however with me starting a new job on the 3rd my finances tell me Im not going to make it. Making preperations for springer season. I WILL GET ONE ON A FLY THIS COMMING YEAR!

It was way, way, way out of shape after the rain on snow a couple of weeks ago. It was 775 CFS this morning which is just about the long term average and a nice fishing level. I'll bet that shot of fresh water moved some fish around. Should be good.

The JD is definitely not fishing well this year.
1) there were waaaay more gill nets from the Bonneville dam to the JD dam than I've ever seen. :depressed:

2) the big rain we had last month pretty much shuffled the bulk of the fish directly up river, past the JD, headed for the upper tribs of the Columbia. (that coming from my good buddy in the ODF)

-I've tried 5 times thus far this year with very poor showings.

-There's always next year right?
