This was posted on another board, but I thought you all might want to see it. These are the world famous Gerrard Rainbows from Canada!!! :bigshock:

We caught rainbows almost as big here in Oregon, until someone :smash: saw fit to illegally plant bass in some of the central Oregon lakes.

They have em stacked like cord wood :jester: in Lake Pend Oreille, some of them do get caught in the small tribs off the lake. Most people catch them on flys similar to the one pictured, on the surface trolled long line or with an apex and dodger/flasher. I have a box full of kam flys that work in that lake I'll post pics if anyone wants to check em out. I think I will throw a few of them at the bulls on the Met trip.

Gorgeous fish. :bigshock: I was going to comment about how beefy that fly rod is and what a funny looking handle the reel has but there has been enough flamery on this board lately... so I won't. :grin: lnf

My house in Idaho looks over lake Pend Oreille, Looking at the background in these pictures it looks like The Monarch mountains bordering a portion of Pend Oreille. Nice fish!!!!!!

If you are referring to the "Fry", it is based upon the number of posts you have made on Ifish. Recommended reading is the "FAQ" section which can be found near the top of each forum. It will answer most questions you have. You can contact other members by left clicking your mouse on their username in the box to the left of their post and when their profile appears left click on "Send a private message" which is found in the lower left corner of their profile. I also recommend that you read the Acceptable Use Policy(AUP) which can be accessed by a link at the top of each Ifish webpage. Not that you have done anything unacceptable in your fist two posts!
