I probably should've posted it here in retrospect, but hope you enjoy the pics.

No one is replying because they are jealous and sick of you always catching more than them and , well, we are not worthy. There. I said it.

Nice feesh tailchaser! And yes GU, I for one AM jealous and unworthy!!!
Getting into chinook on the flyrod is something on my "to do" list for sure. I have got a few but they were more incidental catches while pursuing steelhead or silvers.
My heaviest rod is an 8/9 which still falls into the ultra light category for nooks. I'm hoping to get a 10wt sometime before the springers show up on the Sandy.
BTW, If anyone has Sandy FF springer experience to share, or wants to figure it out with me this spring, let me know. We can drift Oxbow to LC in my DB, or bank it upriver.

Come on now Kurt, I offered to take you and I got the big shaft. Just kiddn' now you'll have to come over for some steelheading on the fly in a few weeks. Man I can't wait for those either.

The big Chinooks are really on the Southern Oregon Coast Rivers! That is why the world record Chinook (on a fly) was caught on the Rogue in 2002! We need to plan a trip there in October 2005!
The springers I have caught locally (Portland area) normally don't get that big.
I will continue searching for that big fish...
