St Louis Ponds

I took my daughter down there last spring and from what I gathered there are Bass there also. Has anyone fished for bass there? Thought it would be a kick for the kicks. Have any suggestions for a good Bass fishing for kids, for next spring. Won't be taking them out until then anyway. Thanks

I haven't been there for several years. I have caught bass up to 14" on crank baits and curly tail jigs. It used to be pretty weedy so I fished the jigs under a bobber. My grandkids & I have caught a lot of bluegill (all small) using cane poles with worms.
