Where is the best spot to fish for smallies on the willamette and what works the best?? thanks!

Anywhere ther is rocky structure such as rip rap banks or points and underwater islands. The very top end of Ross Island is good.

If you can get up to Oregon City and south, there are several places to fish smallies. About five miles south along hwy. 99e, there is a place called Rock Island. Big pull off and back water slough. Pretty good at times. I have heard there are lots in the swan island area too. Good Luck.
