Got to Lacamas Lake at 8pm Friday night,
fished until 11pm. So much wind, hard to do a good job with the jig on the grass lines.
Stayed with the buzz bait and spinner bait.
Landed only 3 fish, no size, all under a pound.
Sure is nice when all the skiers and wave runners go home.
Night fishin is so different, you rely on your ears so much and not your eyes. Everything becomes so sensitive to the smallest different feel of the bait.
Sure enjoy it.

I was at lacamas from friday at 5:30pm to friday at dusk. We caught about 16 bass, 14 on poppers jerked very quickly around, and 2 on spinnerbaits with plastic trailers. All the fish were between 1-2 pounds cept for a few minnows. We fished the "rich guy" shore from dock to straight across from boat launch. We did have one decent prob 3-4 pound fish surface after a lure but I got a bit too excited and ripped before it hit.

We were all using different versions of the Hula popper, pretty small ones all black in color. We fished inside the weeds, catching most of our fish within 10 feet of the shoreline. It hasn't been to hot so we figured the fish wouldn't be camping the weed lines quite yet.

An old friend of mine said that he allways fishes at a boat ramp , because there is allways rip rapp and cover for a bass to hide .
