can someone give me info on if there are many bass there or not? I have only fished it once with my raft w/electric motor and couldnt catch any bass. I used many topwater lures and other shallow running crank baits with no luck. finaly i started trolling wedding rings and caught quite a few perch in the 8 inch range. I fished during the middle of the day so is it rare to catch bass then or can you catch them there all day? I have not tried any plastic baits mainly because of inexperience. I would appreciate any specific info on where to fish and what to use. are there any other lakes such is this around localy with as many fish images/icons/confused.gif

Yes there are bass there. How many??? Every year there are some nice ones taken there. My son was up there with his daughter a month back and saw a fair sized one crusing the shore line. Good luck if you try. images/icons/cool.gif

There are bass in there. Morning and evening are going to be your best bet.

When I was a kid my dad took me fishing there and we caught bass, blue gill and perch with bobber and worms.

They are there. I've never seen a crawdad in the lake, but I've always caught fish on crawdad imitations. Mostly crankbaits, in the lilly bed or in the structure on the west side. Fish the evening or morning. I've never pulled a hawg out of there, but two pounders are plentiful.
