Does anyone have one or know of anyone that does? I'm looking at purchasing a drift boat and those things look sweet! It doesn't look like the transom will support an outboard. It's got a transom similar to the Hydes from the looks of it.
Thanks for any input.

I just spoke to Mark, from Motion Marine. He said "Of course"...
I have not scene one of these in person, but the price is great.

if you are serious about buying a driftboat...buy a willie!..I've owned 3 driftboats and 2 years ago i boat a brand new 17' willie and Ive never rowed a better boat..and they're extras and options are limitless..I would buy a boat from the best builder there is with the best experience not based on $$$!...just my 2 cents!

I guess I should have read the statement closer before I responded. I asked Mark if the drift boat was set up for a trolling motor on the transom...his response was "Of Course".
Hope that makes better sense now.
Have you priced these out. I did a few months back and I found the price to be "VERY GOOD". Hopefully I will get permission for a purchase sometime soon.

I haven't priced them out with the options that I want. I've only seen the base price on their website. I'm hoping I could get a fairly loaded boat for around $5000.00. I have not seen a better interior layout than this boat when you go to the box seating.
I need to wait until my wife is done with Grad School in December before I make the purchase, so I'll probably just wait until the Boat Show or Sportsman's Show to really investigate.
