if you have a cat you can do it all year if you don't mind dragging it around a bit.

I checked my fishing records and the last time I floated from Oxbow to Dabney (in my drift boat), the water level below Bull Run was 9.22 Feet, or 1550 cfs. I didn't have any problem with my drift boat, but the water is lower now.
However, you were asking about a pontoon raft. You should be able to make the float now without hanging on the bottom.

thanks gentlemen - it was fine, as a report - once again saw several, but caught non - saw good numbers of large chinook - several in their spawing dance - was fishing a medium rate sink tip and mostly a purple, dark marabou with some eyes to help it get down - beautiful day though!

I have done it at 8.0 in my drift boat. That was two years ago and the river has changed a bit since then, wasn't bad had to drag it a few places.
