Has Anyone had any experience with a 270 Thompson Santa Cruz? If not, does anyone have opinions on the quality of the boats?

A friend of mine has a runabout Thompson. He is very happy with his and it provides an easy to care for craft that he proficiently catches springers as well as skis with. This boat is considerably larger than his. My understanding is that the Thompson name has been producing boats for a long time and generally has a good reputation.
