Well as much as I hate to say it, I am considering selling my baby.
2003 20' Hewescraft Sea Runner, Honda 115 & 9.9, (75hrs), Standard Horizon VHF(DSC) with 8' Shakespeare ant., Garmin 160 Blue FF, manual Scotty Downriggers with the 360 mounts, full soft top, jump seats that convert to full size bed, anchor roller and 15# Danforth anchor, EZ loader 3100 trailer with surge brakes and roller bunks, etc, etc...
The boat is in perfect condition. I have a 17 month old little girl, a little fella due Dec 1, and have got myself involved in a new house on acreage...sooo I find myself otherwise preoccupied.
The question is, what's she worth? A new 20' SR with no kicker and no toys with a Honda 115 would price out around 27K. I've thought about a "loaded" price and a price with all of the toys taken off. What are your opinions on price and packaging?
Thanks,
Joe :depressed:

Birdnest,
For what its worth I would sell that puppy with all the equipment you mentioned. That is unless your attached to the equipment such as a gift or hand me down type thing. I decided long ago to just sell the boats I've sold over the years just like I fished them. That way when and if the time comes around when your ready to buy another boat you either order it with all the goodies in it or add new equipment as the money is available. This way your boat and equipment are new technology and come with warranties. I still have old items laying around that I wished I would have let go with the sale of the boat it was on. It is better to have the new technology and warranty than trying to mount or use some of that old stuff.

Bummer Birdsnest.... I remember when you posted the first picture of her here on Ifish and how proud you were. She's a sweet boat. But.... priorities ARE priorities!
Best of luck with the family, and gettin' a good price.

Bummer is right. However my wife is trying to talk me out of selling the boat...I always knew she was smarter than me. :flowered:
