Jet-Prop conversion

My jetsled came with a mounting bracket for the big motor, which is a Merc 150 about 1996 vintage. currently the bracket is raised and the jet is on, but with minimal effort the bracket can be lowered and the jet can be removed, prop lower unit installed.

This is where I am having a bit of a problem. I cannot find a proceedure for changing the two lower units. So I need some help, like when removing the Jet, where the transmission should be set, and what hooks up to what.

It seems like there should be a print out that could be down loaded.
Currently I take it to my boat mechanic, but that seems like a unnecessary expense and delay.

Any help out there?

Remove your pump like you would when servicing the cooling water impeller and put the prop lower unit on, just like you would when finishing the R&R on the cooling water impeller for a prop lower unit.

The lower unit should be set so the cavatation plate is slightly below the hull bottom.
