Platinum plugs

[saltwater only]

Have 400 hrs on my engine and need to change spark plugs.
Who is useing platinum now,how do you like them, how often do you change them?
Has anyone swiched from standard plugs to platinum, what difference did you notice and how did you like them?

I put Platinum plugs in a Ford 460 jet boat once, didnt notice any increase in performance or anything else, when I changed them I went back to standard plugs.

I wouldn't bother with platinums unless the engine came with them as O.E.
They're mostly for backing up car manufacturers "100,000 mile" tune-up claims.

Thanks different responses than I expected.
I put them in my other boat and well I didn`t notice any increase in performance it did start much easier and quicker.
I do know they last longer which is why car makers use them.
