Now that Springer fishing is over, I finally have a little time to make a post. I had my best season ever and I just gotta tell.
My boat more than doubled it's Springer intake from last year and I got to fish with some great people. I got to fish with people from as far away as Thailand, Norway and Hawaii not to mention people from San Diego to Maine. Several Ifisher's also graced me with their presence. :yay: Thanks guys, you know who you are.
It was an awesome season with limits being the rule and double digit hookups common. In May my boat went on a streak where it limited 15 days straight. Great fun!! There is nothing like waking up early in the morning knowing that you are heading to the river to have an awesome fishing experience for your clients.
A lot of things fell into place for me this season like lots of fish and good river conditions but I have to give the most credit for my success to my new North River jet sled. That boat got me into Spring Chinook on the Columbia, Willamette, Santiam, North Santiam, South Santiam, Upper Willamette and the Trask.
Thanks for the great boat guys and keep up the great work.
Here are a few pictures of my season:
