Hello All!! I have been reading along for about a month or so. I would like to say thanks for all of the good information posted here about smallies. I grew up in Alabama before moving here to attend college--While growing up in Alabama on the Tenessee river, I was very blessed to fish in the waters of the truly lunker smallies.

My father flew out from Bama a few weeks ago and we have been bank chunkin the waters around Portland. To his suprise he had the time of his life, for we literally caught hundreds of fish!!! Oregon has a special thing going here for those people who know how to catch em.

Question-- has anyone here ever heard of Rattlesnake Plastics? I bought them in K-mart in the south, but I can't seem to find any around here. Their 4" worms are killers.

Good fishing, Bamaboy

They should have em at GI Joes if I remember correctly... I picked up some 3" salt tubes there.

And welcome to IFish.

Yup...i've heard of them and used them too!! Rattlesnake plastic grubs won't catch any smallies at all  so don't even try them out  Come to think of it, send them all to me and i'll kill the fish with them...I mean dispose of them correctly

I have seen them in K-Mart, but this is personal and just me ,i will never buy any because of my dislike for rattlesnakes .I doin't like looking at the package .I am a retired factory rep. and made my living selling . Believe me packageing is important .I wasn't in the fishing industery But do know a few thing about how important the packageing is to sales .I know that this is a personal hang up of mine ,but i doubt that i am the only one that feels this way . :jester:  :yay:  :angel1:
