View Full Version : Winning FF Tip in Practice

Well, I leave tomorow for a few days on the big D. Yesterday I spent some time experimenting, preparing to put my winning fly fishing tip into practice. So I tied up some poly-pro yarn indicators (much cheaper than buying, btw) with rubber legs. I sttached an orange foam strip to a hook and secured the indicator on top. I'll run this like a strike indicator above a couple standard Deschutes nymphs and about 2 feet below my fly line. I'll provide a full field report upon my return. In the mean time, here's a pic:

Thanks, ORS. In this case, a picture is worth at least 68 words (yes, I counted the # in your original tip post).

If it's not too much trouble, could you please add the pic to the original tip thread so they're together in one place? (I already have that one saved.) Much obliged.
