I've got one one seat available on my boat, and I think PETE does also. WE leave PDX at 4am sunday for the estuary. Will target gators with scented flys, then probably have to resort to more traditional methods. There will be three boats in our floatilla. If you'd like to join us, send me a pm or call me 788-3762. You can carpool with us or meet at the john day ramp off hwy 30 around 6am.\
all you need is a 8-10 wt fly rod,a sinking line, and
a sense of adventure. :dance:

Yep, I have a seat open ... I'm going to try un-scented flies, too, as I believe scent would disqualify us from IGFA. Wouldn't it be fun to have more than one record book fish represented on Ifish? (is shad really a sport fish or is it just bait? :grin:)

I'm with ya Pete. Would be great to land some on the real thing. The record catagories are wide open I'm sure.
I'm tying up some chovie pattersn, bunny leaches, and some shrimp patterns too hopefully.
I'm all set to put them to the test.

Good luck out there tomorrow guys. I went down friday, and the bite was preety slow, but what we did catch was on chovies. Preety slow though.... Go get em guys, and we expect a report Sunday evening :smash: :smash: :cheers: :cheers:

You guys are killin' me! I wish I could go even if it were to just see an architect in sturgeonators boat :laugh: oops did I say that out loud? Just kidding T.C. I'm sure the boss will get ya straightened out.I hope everyone had a great and safe trip . My boy is buggin me to ask for pics so I hope ya did well and have some stories to tell. :cheers:
