Fished the Kilchis yesterday for cutts and although I only managed a few small fish I had the river pretty much to myself.
The solitude and beauty of my surroundings along with the great weather made this trip more than worthwhile!
I was even casting good!!! (Thanks Pete)
I found myself thinking that this is indeed what I am after. I wasn't pursuing big springers and like I said the fish that took my fly were pretty small but I enjoyed myself tremendously.
I guess that's what it is all about after all!
