The positive feedback we have received with our Salmon Marabou Jigs has prompted us to expand our color selection. We now have six color patterns available. All of these jigs are made using four palmered marabou feathers. Palmered marabou feathers creates a jig that looks nice and full in the water. Each jig is also finished off using several streamers of matching Krystal Flash. You simply have to see these jigs in the water to really appreciate their beauty. There is nothing quite like them available anywhere on the market today. All the jigs are tied on a super strong Owner 3/0 cutting point hook that simply hooks and holds these big fish. I normally fish these jigs with 20-25# test and have yet to even bend one hook. They are probably the strongest jig you will ever tie on your line.

Here are pictures of the jigs that are available:

This jig is made with four vibrant colored palmered feathers and matching Krystal Flash. In the water this jig is simply amazing. Some of the takes from Salmon practically rip the rod out of your hand.

This jig is made with palmered Purple & Pink Marabou feathers. This color combination has been proven for years to work on both Salmon and Steelhead.

The beauty of these jigs is that both Salmon and steelhead will take the same jig. This time of the year a lot of the rivers here in the northwest have both species present at the same time.

I like to fish these jigs using a sliding set-up identical to what I would use when bobber & egg fishing. If you find yourself on the water and fish are present but are not in the mood for cured eggs, simply cut off the bait hook and tie on one of these. Sometimes simply by switching over to something different like a jig will result in a bobber down. Sand shrimp tails can be tipped on the jig too. This is a proven combination for both Salmon and steelhead.

These jigs can be ordered from our on-line store at First Cast Jigs (http://www.firstcastjigs.com)

We also can take credit card orders over the phone. If you have any questions about these jigs or any of our other products, simply drop us a line or give us a call. We'll be glad to answer any of your questions.

Have fun fishing.
