Gold Lake?

Is the access road to Gold open yet? It's by far my favorite fly fishing lake in the central Cascades..can't wait to fry up a few of the overpopulating brookies!

"We will have everything ready for Memorial Day that's scheduled to be ready," said Hoodoo's Travis Lamb, who oversees management of the campgrounds in the Middle Fork Ranger District.

"And we hope to have Gold Lake ready as well. It's just a matter of access. We were up there on the weekend and got a third of a mile in before we hit a snowdrift that was 2 feet high and 10 feet deep."
