Anybody out there like to use Apex lures? Here's a tip to help improve your hook-ups on this great trolling lure. The standard factory rigging does not leave adequate exposure for the siwash hook. Simply add a bead and a short length of small caliber drinking straw or hollow coffee stirrer or hollow plastic Q-tip and you are set. FISH ON!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot... if you're trolling for salmon, throw away the factory leader and replace with 40# Maxima Ultragreen before rigging up.
