Well i fished the jetty at newport yesterday, and after wards i stopped at moes for some chowder.
This morning i went to get my tackle bag out of my truck and it wasnt there.
Not sure if i left it out in the parking area of the jetty, or if it got stollen out of my truck while at moes.
Its a green north face backpack, with all my fishing stuff in it, I mean everything i own for salmon steelhead in it.
Any info would be great.
It also had my fishing'huunting liscense in there too.
if it got stolen, i sure hope the drug addict enjoys the 20 bucks he gets for selling it to someone.
Im sure there is about 300 bucks in tackle in that bag, not worth anything to anyone else though.

Well i was mistaken, the drug addict that stole my stuff got 70 buck not 20, i know this because i found most of at the hawk shop in corvallis today while looking for the tent that got stolin out of my truck last night. I thought it was taken in newport, but it was in fact taken from my truck while parked at my house in corvallis.

Brian, dude, you seemed marked. Man...if I were your parents I'd give you a truck toolbox and a safe for Christmas.

Sarroy about your losses dude, were you able to score any of it back...or at a fair price. Did you report any of the thefts/items to the police? They could recover for you if you were able to properly identify.

Have a good summer...

Try this:

Once a week I clean out my dog kennel and put the "excrement" in a plastic bag. I then Put the plastic bag in a box. Then, I wrap the box in wrapping paper and add a nice little bow. Then I put it in the back of my truck.. when its not raining. Magically, it dissapears and the dog poop fairy takes it away.

I am thrilled,
I got a knock on my door thia afternoon, and a police officer handed me all my fishing gear! (the stuff that i reported was at the hawk shop) And then about 2 hours later he shows up and has me identify my tent, wich they found at the same guys house who sold my fishing stuff to the hawk shop!!

FAN-tastic! :applause:

As a fellow Corvallis resident who has recently had his truck broken into, I hope they keel haul the SOB who got you.

I stayed out on my darkened porch each night for a week after my loss waiting for the chance to "explain how I feel about theft" to somebody. I still hang out there every so often keeping a wary eye.

What part of town are you in? Pleeeeze say NE....

Well I asked the cop what was going to happen, and if i pressed charges would it be a waste of time, but it turns out hes a convicted felon on probation, and having the knife alone will put him back in the slammer.

Actually, I had the dog poop fairy stuff it down my diesel tank... Now I have locking gas caps. Dog poop fairy's have no sense of humor. Still... it gave me great amusement to imagine someone nervously cramming dog poop by hand down my tank.
