Uncle Passed Away [Archive]

All:

My uncle - from Portland - passed away this morning from complications due to a rare blood disease. Please keep him and our family in your prayers. If you're going fishing any time soon, say your prayer on the water. He enjoyed fishing, and would be happy to know people are taking time out of their fishing trip to pray for him and his family.

Thanks, everyone, for your prayers. The services were today at Rex Putnam high school, where he was a teacher. Wonderful service, with full military honors.

On my way to the area from Klamath Falls, I saw boats at Odell, on the Willamette, and a mini hog line just down from Oregon City. I was thinking of iFishers the whole time, and I've still got my eyes out for iFish stickers. What a great group of people!
