With much sadness, my heart goes out to Billy, this morning...
Billy is the Father of Robert M. McGee, 18, who was shot to death accidently, Sunday morning at Jones Creek Campground.
I first met Billy when I bought my Ford Explorer from Doherty Ford. Talk about service! He delivered my truck, from Forest Grove, all the way to Tillamook!
Billy is a heck of a nice guy, and to further demonstrate his kindness and compassion, he was headed to the Tillamook Anglers Fin Clipping party, with his family. So, he just drove my car for me, and made arrangements to get home, himself.
Billy is a family man, who teaches his children well. He's always got a smile, and he's always got his kids with him!
He teaches his children to respect the resource. He spends time with them outdoors, teaching them about wildlife, about sporting ethics, but most of all, he values his time with his children. This was evident, every time I saw him with his family, at the Tillamook Anglers Fin Clipping.
When I spoke to him, he spoke about God, about family, about church activities, and about his love for the outdoors, and for his children.
Billy has asked that memorial contributions for Robert be sent to Tillamook Anglers. (http://www.ifish.net/Tillanglers.html)

I would ask you to say a prayer for their family, and if you are so inclined, drop a generous donation by to The Tillamook Anglers, who encourage and nurture families who are so driven, and help us all to share in the love of our natural resources.
Thank you,
Jen
