Would like to thank all of the people that have prayed for my family and myself. Our road has been one of learning about ourselves, our faith, and our fellow man. Mom in law saw the oncologist thurs, and now has to make a decission. the cancer was an aggresive type, and although the Dr. feels they got it all, there are always cells that are manipulated off during surgery. Whether they can find a home somewhere else in her body is another story. The oncologist told her that at her age and health that chemo would give her about a 5% insurance policy is all, that it doesn't come back,if they didn't get it all. I feel she will not do further treatment, and cant really blame her. My situation is changing also. I go in for a stress test thursday and have surgery on the 3rd for my apnea problem. I have been smoke free for over 1 month now. :bowdown: :yay: :bigshock: and for 5 days haven't even worn the patch. :bigshock: Forgot it one day and worked through the cravings. So I decided to have one with me but not use it unless I HAVE too. Mom and My wife are also smoke free over 1 month. :bigshock: :dance: :wave: If after my surgery and cpap fitting (for the apnea)my oxygen levels don't come up at night, then they will form a different plan, with the emphysema, as my oxygen gets as low as 80.8% and as high as 90.1% during sleep. Then they will give me suplimental oxygen just at night mixed with the room air from the cpap. I have been walking every day and am up to 4 miles a day now, but do have some pain in my right chest, hence the stress test. :shrug: right side? I know, wierd huh? Anyway, we are all feeling better about things and I figure once I get all MY stuff taken care of, then, well, I don't know, I guess I'll just have to see what is in store for us next. I DO know that many prayers have been said on ALL of YOUR behalfs for meaningful, peaceful and wisdom filled lives. Your prayers and the prayers of others gave US the strength, and our LORD, has given us the time and wisdom to do what we need to do. :bowdown: :bowdown: Peace and love to all.
