I just got home from band practice. Safetychain's (Gregg's) wife talked to my wife and told her that he was in a pretty bad accident tonight. Currently, he's in the hospital. I haven't spoken with anyone yet, so I don't know status. Please keep Gregg and his family in your prayers.

I don't like to hear when bad things happen to good people. My prayers are with Gregg and his family in hopes that he will recover quickly and completely.

Update:

I visited Gregg at Emanual today. Here'e the story:

Thursday, about 6:30 PM, Gregg was traveling westbound on Hwy 26 toward Gresham. As he proceeded through the intersection at Palmquist, another truck traveling northboud ran a red light and struck Gregg's tuck on the driver's side. Gregg's son was with him, but was not injured.

At about 2:30 PM today, I visited Gregg. He has 4 broken ribs, a small puncture in one lung and some fluid in his chest cavity. Not life threatening. He was in good spirits, although a bit uncomfortable. He'll be in the hospital at least one more day for observation. The med staff is managing his pain and discomfort well. He's got a long recovery road ahead.

Please continue to pray for a swift recovery, for his family, for the other driver and thank God that the injuries were not any more severe.

Gregg thanks you all for your prayers.

Safety chain, Am sorry to hear about your mishap. Hope you are feeling better now. I still need an occasional occupant to fill a seat so get better quick and help me out!

There's some good fishing still coming!

Prayers for you too. Joe

Thanks Joe, I am working on that. I had to cancel my annual May bass attack to Brownlee this year. I don't think I will be up to boat rides any time soon.

ORS,
I could probably handle the lightning speed at which your boat travels. I think only the prop touches the water so it wouldn't be as rough. :yay:

DAB,

Thank you. Know that HE hears you and HE is healing me. I am back to work but still in a lot of pain. Getting more xrays tomorrow to see how things are going. Just a little depressed because I had to cancel my annual Brownlee trip which was supposed to be this week. Otherwise things are starting to get back to normal, somewhat. Thank you again to all for your prayers.

Wow! I wondered why I hadn't seen you posting. Glad you are doing better.
There's no fish in Brownlee anyway. Also you need to heel so you can come toon-a-fishn'
Get well soon! We will be praying for your speedy recovery.
