It's getting to be my favorite time of year for steelhead. The crowds are dropping off and from now through April we are going to continue to have waves of hard fighting native and brood stock ( hatchery fish that have native parents ) steelhead returning to our rivers.
The beauty and power of these fish are what dreams and legends are made of.

I've had guys that have been friends since high school, sailsmen with clients and long time fishing fanatics all going out on trips this week and having a great time.
We've been averaging a couple fish per person with some natives and hatchery fish, some days we've been hooking into the double digits. We even caught a late coho this week.
It's only going to get better from here on out.
