Last week (April 8 or so), I came home o find that my propane crab cooker, 5 Gal. propane tank w/ hose and regulator and a small Weber gas grill were stolen from my front porch.
The crab cooker doo-dad is painted black and has lead splatter on it from pouring lead sinkers. The propane tank is brand new.
The gas grill is a few years old, but well maintained.
I don't understand why someone would want my old junky looking stuff. I prefer to keep my stuff looking that way to avoid this kind of thing from happening. Perhaps, someone in my neighborhood doesn't like me. Who knows? I'm sure they won't be the last.
So if anyone comes accross a buddy that got some propane operated suff for a "really good deal" let me know.
I know it's only stuff, but it's just the principle of the whole thing.
So, to whom it may concern...
All of my stuff is locked up now. Stealing something from my front porch is one thing, but coming into my house is very dangerous.
Thanks for the little lesson. I'll be more vigilent from now on.
