It's steelhead season and all the coastal rivers are now getting plenty of fresh steelhead. Soon the inland rivers will also be getting some chromers too.

From the novice to the old timer for years now I've had nothing but satisfied customers with the steelhead season.

December and January is the time for hatchery fish on the coastal rivers. This is a great fishery for the begginer. I have had the privelage to teach many an angler the art of drift fishing at this time.

Late January throug March we go after the wild run as well as brood stock hatchery fish. This is my favorite and most productive steelhead fishing. They are agressive!

On nearly every trip we get into multiple fish and on many days we catch into the double digits. From early in the year to the end of the season we do this by using a variety of techniques on a variety of rivers. Being flexible is the name of the game.

I will be running drift boat trips through the month of December and then starting in January I will be doing both drift boat and jet sled trips.

You really owe it to yourself to get out and experience a northwest tradition of hard fighting chrome Steelhead, surrounded by some of the best country in the world. I know you'll have a good time.
