November Chromers!

We have been having some great days of nice (but cold) weather, fun fellowship and multiple chrome bright fall chinook.

There's always a lot of fish around in November.
It can be some of the best fall chinook fishing of the year.

Flexability is the key. We fish were the conditions dictate. No rain, no problem. The less rain we have the more the fish keg up, they become a captive audience. When we have rain, we have a lot of fish on the move in the rivers-lots of fish in small spaces.

Tidewater fishing gives the best chance for numbers of fish and there will be a mix of bright, bronze, dusky and black fish. Sometimes a person has to weed through the dark fish to get some good ones.

Fishing in the bays and in the rivers during high flows gives the best chance of consistently getting chromers.

I enjoy all these fisheries and lately we have been getting some beautiful fish. I expect the fishing for these fish to hold up right on into December wherever we target them.
