Casper is not only the friendly ghost but he (or she) is also that last fish of a limit. All the first fish of a limit are easy but it's the last one that is the hardest, sometimes taking longer to get Casper than all the rest of them together.

Sometimes you get Casper and sometimes you don't. And so it's been this week. But for sure there have been some nice fish brought into my boat.

Last Tuesday we had a great bite all day but then when there was one more fish to go I said, "OK, now we're fishing for Casper, this could take a while." But this time Casper wasn't so elusive and within minutes we had another "Fish On!"

In fact it happened so quick I thought I'd try and get me a fish too.

I did!

We finished the day landing nine chinook, Dave lost a pig at the boat and we released three wild silvers.

Sweet Day!

Bay fishing has been like it used to be and that means we are going to have some great river fishing next month. I am almost full but I still have some dates during the third week of November.
