Luke 24
At daybreak on the first day of the week
the women who had come from Galilee with Jesus
took the spices they had prepared
and went to the tomb.
They found the stone rolled away from the tomb;
but when they entered,
they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
While they were puzzling over this, behold,
two men in dazzling garments appeared to them.
They were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground.
They said to them,
"Why do you seek the living one among the dead?
He is not here, but he has been raised.
Remember what he said to you while he was still in Galilee,
that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners
and be crucified, and rise on the third day."
And they remembered his words.
Then they returned from the tomb
and announced all these things to the eleven
and to all the others.
The women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James;
the others who accompanied them also told this to the apostles,
but their story seemed like nonsense
and they did not believe them.
But Peter got up and ran to the tomb,
bent down, and saw the burial cloths alone;
then he went home amazed at what had happened.

As I sit in my hotel room, the sun cascading over my desktop, and my children fast asleep, I hear a great chorus of
"JESUS CHRIST HAS RISEN TODAY!!!!
HALLLELUUUUUUUJAH!"
All is healed, all sinners are loved and FORGIVEN, and everyone who knows Him is wrapped in his peace and love!
Everyone who doesn't know him has HOPE!
Jesus Christ rose from the dead! It's a miracle! And a miracle that I struggled to believe, in my younger years.
As I grew to know the Lord and to believe in Him... as I witnessed how he carried me through the worst of times, as I look around me and see the miracles of something as simple as a flower, or something as grand as the deep blue ocean and the life that lives there, as I feel forgiven, (after all of the terrible things I have done!) and know that he STILL loves me, I realize that no miracle in the world is too grand for our Father!
He is risen! And I have given my life to Him, and I will serve Him forever and forever!
He has taught me grace, and so much more!
As you go through out your days, remember that people will know those that "They will know we are Christians, by our love."
As you go through out your day, try to remember to show His love as He has shown us.
Then, get up tomorrow, and do the same thing!
Jesus Christ has risen today!
Hallelujah!
:dance:
Now, go make a joyful noise! :smile:

The blood dripped from our Savior's side
and fell upon the ground,
men gazed upon his broken face
Yet uttered not a sound.
The only noise for miles around
was a rumble in the sky,
as darkness settled over head
All waited for him to die.
They took him from that tattered cross
he had bore alone that day,
his lifeless limbs fell by his side,
His skin had turned to gray.
Little did these same men know
on the third day just at dawn,
a look inside the cold dark tomb
Would find our savior gone.
