Dispite the dropping dam counts there are still some "June Hogs" coming through. We started off yesterday with this chromer (even still had a sea lice) and ended up landing eight and missing about three or four more. It was a mix of steelhead and salmon but all but this first one were wild and we released them quick without getting any photos, I don't like messing around with them right now because the water is so warm. We don't even net them.
We must have been in the native slot because the boat next to us caught four steelhead and a chinook and they were all fin clipped but one steelie
I had a great time fishing with Ben, Gordon, Ed and Isaac. And congratulations to 14 year old Isaac for catching his first ever steelhead graemlins/applause.gif
Fishing has been consistant all week as we have been landing four to five on every trip since Monday.
