Brownlee sounds like a fun place to go after whisker-fish.
One question, guys: which month of the year is traditionally the very best for catching the most numbers of catfish?
Here kitty, kitty!
You want most or biggest? I posted a bunch last year about it. Now is the time for pigs. A couple of 20+ pounders were caught last weekend.
PM me or e-mail me. I'll fill you in...

Guys, I'm thinking May, June, or July....which of these 3 months do you guys think we'd catch the most numbers of kitties??
Thanks!
You will do well during all three months. You do not want to be there in July though. It gets very hot in the canyon and one of 2 things happens. Either the wind kicks up (and it howls, with big whitecaps), or the wind doesn't kick up (and you bake like a beef roast in a 425 oven) I suggest you go between the 3rd week in May and the second week in June. It is usually pretty nice weather, the fishing is good, and if you are lucky there might still be some green left in the hills (early is better in this regard). I'll probably see you over there if you go in June. May is Springer time in these parts...
