Sooo,
If you can't retain any sturgeon??????

Do you need to have a license and a punch card to fish for them now?

My brother in law wants to go tomorrow, and doesn't have a license or tag and doesn't want to buy one this late in the season. Does he need to get a day license or not?

Yes he will need it. A one day is the way to go if he isnt planning on fishing anymore this year.

The answer to your question is yes you do need a license to fish for sturgeon being you keep or release.You could get a two day.If you don't mind me asking,where are you going. Dave

you have to have a licence and a harvest card in the state of oregon without them BOTH you are looking at a $75 ticket or worse my bro in law found this out the hard way
