Hey David,
I'd like to hear your ideas. I've got next week off and am planning to make it out at least twice. Not exactly the optimum time for a fishing vacation but oh well. Any advice to increase my chances would be greatly appreciated.

For us Amp, most of the coastal rivers are starting to get some winter steelhead and a few of them are still going to give out some nice chinook.
Start fishing the smaller rivers first after the big rains and then move on to the bigger ones as they drop.

Go ready for both kinds of fish.
Also, by hitting the smaller streams from the bank you can get away from some of the croweds.
Fish close to the bank in high water and add some scent.
