I have been thinking about fishing the coast for steelhead since March. It's been raining and I know there are some fish to be caught. The question is which river clears the soonest (Tillamook area)? Any help and or reports would be appreciated. If you don't mind a shuttle number would be good too!

The kilchis will clear the soonest with plenty of bright chinook and steel in the river.I don't have the number handy for the shuttle though.Good luck.

I'm in Tacoma and was thinking of coming home (Albany/Corvallis) via the coast with a stop to see if I could get some chrome.
What conditions are the rivers in say from Tillamook south to Waldport? Any above average picks?
Thanks

Might try the Alsea. It doesn't get as much rain as the rivers around Tillamook. Yesterdays storm blew the North Coast out.

forget the Alsea and Siletz too at least for a couple of days. Course if your driving right on by and you see the edges of the river starting to give some green color with a nice looking seem....
