I put away the sled and drug out the drift boat for the first time since March. We floated the Clackamas and dispite the blistering sun we pulled out a couple nice fish. One clipped springer of about 15 pounds and one steelhead of about 8.
The steelhead was a recycled summer so I can thank the ODFW for that program. It even had a spring chinook hook in it's mouth, some one had broke him off before us. And we caught it at 2:00 under a very bright sky.
Eggs did the trick again.
