Been watching the river levels and it appears to be dropping quickly. It may actually fish OK this weekend. I may try it on Sunday.
Good luck if you go!!!!

Barrier Dam has been producing coho and jacks for a friend of mine using jigs tipped with a piece of sand chicken and scent.
They caught 31 fish today between 3 of them fishing.
I caught coho on the Lewis durring the Thanksgiving day flood and the next day (Friday).
Hard to blow out the Lewis and upper Cowlitz.
Times like that you kinda appreciate dams.

After a great weekend fishing last weekend, my dad decided he wants to fish with me this weekend. I'm curious if you've seen the NF LEWIS lately....if so, how is it...super brown, I'm guessing...but keeping my hopes up. Any info would be excellent.

If you read Aarons report about the Barrier Dam you will see the two of us decided to go up there the next day and didn't have any problem catching fish.
Might up for another trip to the Barrier next week if it warms up.
