Bonneville has been good for some and slow for others.
The dam has been rising and lowering the river the last few days causing bites to start and stop. Have good bait in the water when a bite starts.
I fished up at the deadline yesterday with eggs and we hooked five and landed two. Some boats were hot and some were not.
Today I started the day out fishing in a hog line in 46 feet of water, here we caught two and lost two. A little into the morning the current speed picked up and I couldn't keep outgear on the bottom so we moved up to the inside of the line above me. Here the current was a lot better. We caught another fish here in 27 feet of water. Later we backbounced eggs and ran diver/Kwikfish. Caught one on the wiggler and lost one on eggs.
Grand total hooked seven and landed four.
One more day out there and then I get to sleep in, but just one day images/icons/smile.gif
