I fished my usual spot again and had a a lot of company again. Seven boats total in our line. The other boats lost three and caught four chinook and one summer steelhead. We ended up hooking six and landing five, four clipped fish and one that wasn't.
The line below me had four boats and they hooked about seven fish.
All our fish and all but one of the other boats got them on K14 and K15 Kwikfish. The fish that wasn't on a wiggler was on herring.
So far this week on my rod I've fished sand shrimp all once, herrng all day once and prawns for two days only to hook one fish on a prawn, I think tomarrow I'll try a couple of smaller plugs like Wiggle Warts and S.E. Hot Shots on my rod just to see what happens. So far it looks like wigglers take the show. When I started fishing down here three weeks ago almost every one fished herring with a spin glo in front of it, now I've got them all using Kwikfish.
