Well, Hero to Zero. What a difference a day can make.
After yesterday I had plenty of company. Seven boats in my line as well as a few others scattered around. The total for the day. Only three fish between everyone.
All we could manage was one hookup that we lost.
At 11:30 I went looking for better pastures and sampled three other spots of mine. Saw two hooked in one of them and from what the guys there told me there were three other keepers and one unclipped fish caught there in the morning.
But that's fishing, I can't complain. I've caught plenty all ready this spring and there's always tomorrow.
This is the first time I have been skunked since the 12th of March, not counting a little 3 1/2 hour spur of the moment trip in Oregon City one day.
